What is Dental Implant?
A typical implant consists of a titanium screw placed in the mouth to replace the root of the missing tooth. They are fully biologically compatible, with no bone rejection. After a period called osseointegration, a prosthesis is placedon the implant.

Once they are installed, implants undergo a process of osseointegration, which occurs when bone cells attach themselves directly to the titanium surface, essentially locking the implant into the jaw bone.

Overdenture

Intravenous Sedation?
Intravenous sedation is performed by an anesthesiologist and it is indicated in some cases to provide comfort for the patient and the dentist.
